# VoiceMaster

> Create temporary voice channels instantly in your server.

## Getting started

To turn on VoiceMaster, run `,voicemaster setup` once — this builds everything misery needs automatically.

It creates a **Voice Channels** category with a **Join to Create** channel inside. Members join it, and misery makes them a voice channel of their own and moves them in. Once everyone has left, the channel is deleted.

> Feel free to rename or move the channels it creates afterward — nothing will break.

>
> Fluxer never lets a bot move the **server owner**. If you own the server, your channel is still made — click into it within a minute, or it's cleaned up.

## Setting defaults for new channels

Every channel VoiceMaster creates follows a template you define. These require **Manage Server**.

To take VoiceMaster down again, run `,voicemaster reset`.

## Commands for your channel

These work for whoever owns the channel they're sitting in.

### Renaming

,voicemaster name ethan's vc
```

`,voicemaster rename` works too.

### Capping member count

```javascript Syntax theme={null}
,voicemaster limit (number)
```

```javascript Example theme={null}
,voicemaster limit 5
```

Between `0` and `99` — `0` removes the limit.

### Locking and hiding the channel

* `,voicemaster lock` — blocks new members from joining
* `,voicemaster unlock` — opens it back up
* `,voicemaster ghost` — hides the channel from the channel list
* `,voicemaster unghost` — makes it visible again

### Choosing who gets in

| `,voicemaster permit (member)` | Let someone in, even while locked |
| `,voicemaster reject (member)` | Keep someone out |
| `,voicemaster kick (member)` | Disconnect someone and keep them out |
| `,voicemaster permitted` | See everyone you've permitted |

## Ownership & extras

> **Music-only mode**
>
> `,voicemaster music yes` stops `@everyone` from talking in the channel — useful for listening parties with a music bot. `,voicemaster music no` turns it off.

> Your owner permissions move to them.

> **Claiming a channel**
>
> If the owner leaves without transferring it, anyone still inside can run `,voicemaster claim` to take it over.

> **Checking your settings**
>
> `,voicemaster configuration` shows the owner, member count, bitrate, and whether the channel is locked, hidden, or music-only.

## Hard bans

Keep someone out of **every** VoiceMaster channel you own, in every server.
