# Last.FM

> Show off what you're listening to and compete with your server.

## What's Last.FM?

Last.FM is a music-tracking service — it logs every song you play and builds stats around your listening habits over time. Don't have an account yet? Sign up [here](https://www.last.fm/join).

To track Spotify plays, open your [Last.FM applications page](https://www.last.fm/settings/applications) and connect **Spotify Scrobbling**.

## Linking your account

```javascript theme={null}
,lastfm set
```

misery reacts with 📩 and DMs you a link. Open it, approve misery on Last.FM, and your account is linked — no typing your username.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need DMs from server members turned on for this to work. If you already have an account linked, run `,lastfm remove` first to switch.

> [!WARNING]
>
> misery caches your entire listening library after you connect — give it a little time before running library-based commands like `,lastfm whoknows`.

Your library refreshes when you run `,lastfm update`.

## Removing your account

```javascript theme={null}
,lastfm remove
```

> [!NOTE]
>
> This clears your cached library and all of your crowns.

## Everyday commands

`,lf` and `,lfm` work in place of `,lastfm`. Most commands take a member to look at someone else's stats.

| Command | What it shows |
| - | - |
| `,lastfm nowplaying` (`,np`, `,fm`) | What you're playing right now |
| `,lastfm recent` | Your recent tracks |
| `,lastfm topartists (period)` | Your top artists — also `topalbums`, `toptracks` |
| `,lastfm collage (size) (period)` | An album art collage, like `3x3 7d` |
| `,lastfm plays (artist)` | Your plays for an artist — also `playsalbum`, `playstrack` |
| `,lastfm overview (artist)` | Your stats for one artist |
| `,lastfm profile` | Your Last.FM profile |
| `,lastfm taste (member)` | How your taste compares to someone else's |
| `,lastfm pace` | Your scrobble pace and projected yearly total |
| `,lastfm milestone (number)` | What your Nth scrobble was |
| `,lastfm lyrics` | Lyrics for what you're playing |

## Server leaderboards

| Command | What it shows |
| - | - |
| `,lastfm whoknows (artist)` (`,lastfm wk`) | Top listeners of an artist in this server |
| `,lastfm wkalbum` / `,lastfm wktrack` | The same for an album or track |
| `,lastfm globalwhoknows (artist)` | Top listeners across everyone connected |
| `,lastfm playing` | What members here are listening to right now |
| `,lastfm crowns` | Your crowns — the artists you're the top listener of |
| `,lastfm mostcrowns` | Who holds the most crowns |
| `,lastfm claim` | Claim every crown you're owed |

> [!TIP]
>
> Staff can run `,lastfm update server` to refresh everyone's library at once, and `,lastfm hide (member)` to keep someone off the leaderboards.

## Votes

Every Now Playing gets an upvote and downvote reaction — 🔥 and 🗑️ by default, or your own with `,lastfm customreactions` (`,lastfm react` sets the server's). Reacting counts as a vote. `,lastfm votes` shows how your plays have been rated, and `,lastfm votes top server` ranks the most upvoted listeners.
