Overview

Set a channel, an interval, and a message — misery handles the rest, reposting on schedule until you remove it. Useful for rule reminders, recurring announcements, or promo drops.
One auto message per channel, up to 10 per server. The interval must be between 10 minutes and 30 days.
All of these require the Manage Server permission.

Creating one

Syntax
Example
,timer create does the same thing. Text and announcement channels both work.

Interval format

Intervals are a number and a unit, with no spaces: Units can be chained — 1h30m and 2d12h both work. 2 h or two hours won’t go through.

The message

Plain text works, but so does the full embed syntax. Start your message with {embed} to build a rich embed instead, and use variables to make it dynamic — see Scripting. misery checks it can post in the channel before saving, so a missing permission gets caught immediately rather than silently failing on the first scheduled post.
Posts stay on their original schedule. If misery was offline when one was due, it skips the missed post rather than sending a burst when it comes back.

Removing one

Syntax
Example

Clearing all of them

Wipes every auto message in the server after you confirm with a ✅ reaction.

Checking what’s set up

A single channel

Shows the raw code behind the message plus its channel and interval.
Syntax
Example

Everything at once

,timer list pages through every auto message in the server with its channel and interval.
